Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 98 === The research target of the relationship among English of learning strategies、learning anxiety and learning effects for adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universities in Kaohsiung City and County. The result will be provided to be used as reference by the adult educator,adult learner and future study.The study is done through questionnaire survey after a literature review process.598 questionnaires were responded among total 770.The valid response to questionnaires has reached 77.66%.The research tools are “ A research survey questionnaire of the relationship among English of learning strategies、learning anxiety and learning effects for adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universities in Kaohsiung City and County.”;the survey questionnaire contents include four parts: “The scale of learning strategies”, “The scale of learning anxiety”, “The scale of learning effects”and “Personal basic data”. The statistical methods used are descriptive statistics,mean difference test,single factor ANOVA,Person product-moment correlation and gradual regression analysis;the research results are summerized as in the following: 1. The English learning strategies of adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universities in Kaohsiung City and County are mainly based on “compensation strategies.” 2. The English learning anxiety of adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universities in Kaohsiung City and County are mainly based on “fear of negative evaluation.” 3. The English learning effects of adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universities in Kaohsiung City and County are mainly based on “the application” 4. The female of English learning strategies、learning anxiety and learning effects will have the highest in English continuing learning of “6-15years”and the year of “first year of 2-year programs at day division”and “21-30 years old”. 5. “Fear of negative evaluation”is the major prediction variable of “cognitive learning effect”of adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universitie. 6. “Compensation strategies”is the major prediction variable of “application learning effect”of adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universitie. 7. “Cognitive strategies” is the major prediction variable of “affective learning effects” of adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universitie. 8. “Test anxiety”and “Fear of negative evaluation” are the main predictions of “overall learning effects” of adult students in 2-year programs at techology colleges and universities in Kaohsiung City and County. 9. The higher “English learning strategies”;the lower “Englisg learning anxiety”. 10.The higher “cognitive learning effects”,the higher “English learning strategies”. 11.The higher “cognitive learning effects”,the higher “English learning anxiety” .
