Data were collected from military training instructors in southern Taiwan including Kaohsiung city, Kaohsiung county, and Pintung county. Three questionnaires were used, including Transformational Leadership of Military Director Questionnaire, Organizational Commitment of Military Training Instructor Questionnaire, and Job Performance of Military Training Instructor Questionnaire. Among 335 surveys mailed, a total of 302 completed surveys were returned. The response rate was 90.15%. Bothe descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were used including t-test, one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The results were: 1. In general, transformational leadership of military director reported by military training instructor was high with “charisma inspiration” scored the highest. 2. In general, organizational commitment of military training instructor was high with “loyalty” being the highest. 3. On the whole, job performance of military training instructor was high with “promoting defense education” scored the highest. 4. Military training instructors who were male, leaders of life coaching, or chief directors or worked in a public school had the highest scores in organizational commitment. 6.
