碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 美術學系 === 98 === The present statement aims to discuss my works from 2007 to 2010: No Knocking!, A Passenger, When I Look Upon the Sky, life.com, and A Plan of Tea Making. Chapter I attempts to illustrate the background and the transition of my work and then rethink a new direction and approach in my work; to consider how to face and overcome the confusion and anxiety stemming from the transition. Chapter II attempts to approach my work by the figure characteristics in order to contrast the history of the video arts; and then clarify my position of my work within the art movement. Chapters III to V discuss the ideas of my work in order to explain the content and issues examined and explored. Moreover, the author begins with the capture of the subtle perception and, through the re-presentation skills, ends with an interpretation of the contemporary mass media. Meanwhile, the author further explores the figurative structure and its expression features of the works. Finally, the author attempts to write about the transition of the self in each period, experience the different status with a subjective perception, and then think its possibility in the future.
