Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 98 === The purposes of this research were to reveal the current situation and the relations between positive psychology and emotional management of junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung city. With questionnaire investigation and purposive sampling method, data were collected from 23 junior high schools through the use of a modified version of “positive psychology questionnaire” and “emotiona1 management questionnaire”. 446 copies of 500 questionnaires were properly filled received. T-test, one-way ANOVA, Person product-moment correlation, and stepwise regression were performed. The main findings are: 1. The current state of the junior school teachers’ positive psychology is in upper middle level. Besides, teachers scored highest in “positive meaning”. 2. The current state of the junior school teachers’ emotional management is in upper middle level. Besides, teachers scored highest in “emotional perception”. 3. The male teachers have better positive psychology than female ones. 4. The married teachers have better positive psychology and emotional management than single ones. 5. The teachers holding master’s degree and above have better positive psychology and emotional management. 6. The teachers who haven’t put on administrative or tutorial duty have better positive psychology and emotional management. 7. The higher positive psychology is, the better emotional management will be. There is a significant positive relation between “positive psychology” and “emotiona1 management”. 8. The “positive emotion” of positive psychology is a main predicting for the emotional management. Based on the data analysis results, suggestions were provided to the educational administrative organizations and schools, teachers and future studies.
