碩士 === 國立屏東商業技術學院 === 國際企業所 === 98 === This research aims to probe into the trend of the diversification of petroleum retail industry and case-study on the diversification of Enterprise C in Taiwan. Through the collection and induction of the data, there is no significant outcome of Enterprise C’s operation on its convenience stores. In addition, this research attempts to figure out the possible causes of this phenomenon. On the basis of “Resource-Based View”, it is verified by the diversification model in the research that both the insufficient resource and the failure in transition and expansion of existing resource brought about the failure of diversification.
