The first part was to investigate current circumstance about kindergarten directors’ creative personality and school innovative management. The second part was to explore the differences of kindergarten directors’ creative personality and school innovative management among different background variables. The third was to analyze the relationship between creative personality and school innovative management of kindergarten directors. The fourth was to predict school innovative management from kindergarten directors’ creative personality. At last was to propose the conclusions and suggestions to the kindergarten, educational units, and future researchers. To achieve the aim of this research, the instruments included the researcher revised Gough(1979)and Lin, Mei-Chieh (2007)questionnaire and established Creative Personality Questionnaire and School Innovative Management Questionnaire as the tool of this study. The subjects of this study were 216 kindergarten directors that chosen from the public and private kindergartens in Kao-hsiung City, Kao-hsiung County and Ping-tung. The research distributed 560 questionnaires and returned with 145 copies, The valid response rate is 83%. Statistical methods employed to analyze the data including percentage, t-test , one-way ANOVA, person correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analyses and Scheffe’s method. The results of this study were as followed. 1. The kindergarten directors’ creative personality tends to positive. The best perception is creative independent personality, but the worse is kindergarten directors’ individualism. 2. The kindergarten directors’ school innovative management is above average. The best perception of performance is to become multiple, but the worse is kindergarten directors’ social resource using. 3. There are significant differences between the background variables such as age, educational background, year of service, and current work on the kindergarten directors’ creative personality. But there are no significant differences between the background variables such as gender, school’s nature, school’s history, and school’s location on the kindergarten directors’ creative personality. 4. There are significant differences between the background variables such as gender, age, and school’s nature on the kindergarten directors’ school innovative management. But there are no significant differences between the background variables such as educational background, year of service, current work, school’s history, and school’s location on the kindergarten directors’ school innovative management. 5. The relationship between all factors of creative personality and all factors of school innovative management is below average. 6.
