The research purposes are as follows: 1. To understand the current condition of principal leadership style, team trust, and team performance. 2. To compare the differences of principal leadership style, team trust, and team performance within different background factors. 3. To explore the relationship among principal leadership style, team trust, and team performance. 4. To explore the interpretation of principal leadership style to team performance. 5. To explore the impact of team trust between principal leadership style and team performance. The researcher adopted questionnaire survey as research method. The research samples are the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City. The major conclusions of the study are as follows: 1. The elementary school teachers score above average in principals leadership style, team trust and team performance. Especially, the teachers perceived principals "human caring" leadership style, team "identity-based" trust, team performance in the "member satisfaction" of the level of the best. 2. The elementary school teachers who are in large- scale school, above 51 years old, in the position as directors, and having graduate degrees show better perception of principal leadership style. The elementary school teachers who are in large- scale school and in the position as directors show better perception of team trust. The elementary school teachers who are in large- scale school and males show better perception of team performance. 3. Principal leadership style, team trust, team performance correlate between the presence. 4. Principal leadership style on team performance has partial significant explanatory power. 5. Team trust has the role of intermediary in the principal leadership style and team performance.
