碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 視覺藝術教育學系 === 98 === A Study on the Life in the skills of Art - Derive and Burn Yu-Man Lin Advisor：Dr.Youn-Jien Lin Abstract The theme of study is ''Life in the skills of Art -Derive and Burn''. The whole structure is as the main shaft with the life, and confers how the author turns into the artistic creation in the course of her life. Derive means the development of connection, series and extension. Burning which refers to burning of the life and the space makes the life full of light, creating the existence of meaning and value. The study tries to discuss the life evolution from the view of the relationship between empty and real in the empty-real space at first. Then, talk about the inwardness of the existence deeply from the viewpoint of existentialism, looking for self-the real one, in order to be the basis of creating by the author. In my conception, I use space, existence, the five elements, materials, inwardness, nature as elements in the life creation by art, regarding natural space and inwardness of vision as the display content of rational thinking and perceptual direct observation. In my creation, I adopt a form of expression of level type compound matchmaker material and connecting link type, regarding natural material, symbolic symbol, life element as the development of life. By shifting and connecting painting method, I infuse time into the structure of space after reorganizing vision, perception and sensation, making picture create a kind of connection of rhythm, space displacement and time, and then, to become a form of existing space. Finally, I express my feeling at heart through aesthetic arrangement of materials, giving the work the vitality and harmony in the whole. On the other hand, I make experiments of creation by making use of modern artistic creation, application of materials, principle of perspective, space analysis and art history, helping me guide the direction of creation and expand my creation concept. The meaning of the study lies in expressing life relationship in art, recurring perception about life in my heart and developing unique creation thinking and style by means of individual introspection,conversation and action.
