Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 視覺藝術學系 === 98 === It is the author’s particular sentiment at school as well as its historical value that render the choice of “Graceful An-ping” as the research topic of this thesis. The author intends to carry forward the spirit of creation and more importantly to expand its content. As far as sketching viewpoint and painting spirit are concerned, the author firstly has a discussion on the sketching viewpoint in China, western countries and Taiwan and makes deeper analysis concentrating on those representative painters. Next, the author makes an explanation of the value sketching heritages, the concept it interprets and creation ideas in order to prove that sketching is neither simply the amplification of a picture nor an introduction of scenery.Based on the theme of development history of An-ping, and historic figures and cultural heritages, the thesis intends to explore the historical position and features involved under the background of time transition, the purpose of which is to strengthen understanding on the topic both as a whole and its details. Places of historic figures and cultural heritages and beautiful views of fishing harbors in An-ping are the main content of the sketching, which integrates the excellence of both Chinese wash painting and western drawing into Chinese color paintings as a whole and presents the picturesque scenery of historic sites and fishing harbors.Painting is a painstaking and time consuming job, in which persistence is a necessity besides interest. By integrating both Chinese and western painting characteristics between the style of tradition and modern, the author hopes to establish a personal style. What’s more, in the course of pondering the world, the author also intends to pick out the essence of nature and expresses true feeling. It has been twenty five years since the author entered the field of wash painting. In the long course of painting, the author has tasted both bitterness of lacking painting inspiration and sweetness of being suddenly enlightened. Sketching is always an important way to express feeling in creation. After deeply exploring viewpoints expressed in Chinese and western painting, the author finds that an integration of Chinese and western painting features are prevailing in modern painting. Therefore, the author would like to present “Graceful An-ping” by Chinese color sketching.
