The cost of the research and development and other constraints will limit the quantity and the configuration location of the redundancy components. However, in the researches of the reliability, there are few of them carried on the discussion from the total profit and the related arrangement of redundancy components. Therefore, this research is in view of the series system. In the limiting of the investment fund and the redundancy allocation quantity, we constructed the model of the total profit for the redundancy allocation of the standby components. And then we discussed the influences to the total system reliability by the redundancy allocations. In the end, we proposed a numerical example and did the analysis to confirm the feasibility of the model.
