Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 數位內容科技學系碩士班 === 98 === How to design an assistive device for functionally meets user’s requirement, familiarly fits the images from users, and successfully tallies with product innovation is a difficult and important duty. Moreover, service provider’s opinion should be the part of the design concept into this assistive device. The focus of this study is on the integrating of user requirements from product innovation and “Touch-point” from service design to product planning. Product semantics and image map are the main tools for cohering design concept for designers. The research methodology is grounded theory, and research process contains two interviews and two coding circuits, which can be compared with each other in order to express the importance and characters from the research. These coding methods contain open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, which can be helpful to extract information about functions and forms of products, and even contextual conditions and environments. The design information will be presented as scenarios for contextual using situations, and these scenarios are for installing this assistive device, users using the assistive device, and normal people use the toilet with this assistive device. It will be helpful for designers designing and considering what will be happened in real conditions. This developing system could be a reference for planning of related assistive device product. In following design process, those charts, figures, and scenarios from this system can be the evaluations and comparisons for design manager to discuss and communicate with marketing department, directors, and clients in the company.
