Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 材料科學系自然科學教育碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the green consumption cognition, attitude and belief of southern area elementary school teachers to better determine how their different backgrounds serve as the major variables. A total of 782 copies of the self-designed “questionnaire of teacher’s cognition, attitude and belief of elementary school teachers for green consumption” were sent out to teachers associated with elementary schools in Tainan County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung County and Kaohsiung City. The teachers were selected by the method of “stratified random sampling” so that difference in school size and location can be included in the population. There were 680 effective samples. The statistic analysis performed were descriptive statistics, T-test, one-way ANOVA, Turkey’s Post-hoc comparison and Pearson’s related analysis. The main results of the study were shown as follows: 1. In terms of cognition, southern area elementary school teachers got sixty points for the test and which indicates that they possess positive green consumption attitudes and beliefs. 2. The correlations between the grades Southern area elementary school teachers teach and the green consumption cognition were strikingly different. 3. Southern area elementary school teachers’ attitudes were significantly associated with the gender, age, years of teaching experience and area of the school variables. 4. Southern area elementary school teachers’ beliefs in green consumption were significantly associated with the gender and the area of the school variables. 5. No significant correlation was uncovered between Southern area elementary school teachers’ cognition and attitude. Attitude and belief have been shown to be positively correlated with one another, as well as cognition and belief. Finally, further discussions were conducted and concrete suggestions were proposed based on the results of this study so that the promotion and study of green education might profitably be addressed by future researchers in the area.
