In the digital independent point projected capacitive multi-touch driver, we use constant time period and pulse width measuring method to measure the signals converted from sensed capacitance to frequency to show the touched state of sensors. In the analog axis intersectional projected capacitive multi-touch driver, we adopt analog signal processing approach to detect the signals converted from sensed capacitance to amplitude to show the touched state of sensors. Both of the drivers can achieve the function of multi-touch signal processing. In the system’s verification, we use enamel-insulated wires to fabricate the touch sensors, and then integrate them with the projected capacitive multi-touch drivers, and finally apply them to digital album, touch porch, touch central island, and touch interactive floor.
