碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 機電系統工程研究所產碩專班 === 98 === The TFT-LCD industry whose output value has outrun one trillion dollars is one of the important industry that deeply developed by the plan “Two Trillion & Twin Star”. But since the Q3 in 2007, the global financial tsunami caused by subprime mortgage rapidly inflicted severe damage on economic body of every country, and indirectly influenced the demand and supply. The TFT-LCD industry, belonged to the plan “Two Trillion & Twin Star”, is obviously decreasing in sales and quantity during the crisis, and every company is forced to face the challenge. Through the damage caused by the financial tsunami has already controlled, both the productivity of the TFT-LCD industry and market demand are recovering, but the main competitor of Taiwan-Korea ,has taken the opportunity to increase the distance between, and making the industry competition more serious. Furthermore, the raising of China accelerates each of the company to make an overall arrangement there for the sake of industry competition in the future. How to draw up appropriate industry strategies to confront the changed industry environment is the emphasis. Our research which is going to generalize current display technology, and is aimed at the TFT-LCD industry and the situation of main companies in Taiwan, and Korea, the main competitor of Taiwan, and the policies that made to develop the TFT-LCD industry by the government of Taiwan, is proceeded in both dimensions about the qualitative strategy analysis and the quantitative Prediction model.
