Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 教育政策與行政研究所 === 98 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between innovative climate and management performance in junior high school in Kaohsiung city, in light of results of the study, providing suggestions to educational authorities and schools. The methods adopted for the research were questionnaire survey and interview. Firstly, based on the results drawn from the literature review, a questionnaire named “The questionnaire for innovative climate and management performance” was developed. Questionnaires were delivered to principals, section chiefs, group leaders and teachers of 38 junior high schools in Kaohsiung city. 368of the 550 sent out questionnaires are effective. The statistics software tool used for the questionnaire analysis was SPSS17.0 for Windows. Secondly, 4 of principals, section chiefs, group leaders, and teachers in junior high schools of Kaohsiung city were chosen to be interviewed in the way of semi-structure.The conclusions derived from the literature review, the questionnaire survey, and the interview are as follows: 1. The awareness of the current situation of innovative climate is scored medium.Among all aspects of innovative climate, “administrational encouragement” aspect is scored the highest. 2. The awareness of the current situation of management performance is scored medium.Among all aspects of innovative climate, “teaching profession” aspect is scored the highest. 3. Male, senior, master degreed , and in charge of administrational positions teachers have higher awareness of innovative climate and management performance. 4. There is no significant differential effect of the awareness of innovative climate and management performance between groups of schools for school size and school districts. 5. Self-motivations of members and the supports of school administration are the most powerful key factors to form innovative climate in junior high schools. 6. The upgrades of teaching profession and the social resoures are the foundations of school management performance. 7. Attending in-service courses and strategic alliances is helpful for innovative climate and management performance. 8. There is a high positive correlation between innovative climate and management performance. 9. Among all dimensions of innovative climate, the construct of resorce sharing is the most significant predictor for management performance. According to the conclusion in this research, the researcher provides suggestions for educational authorities, schools, as well as future relative researches.
