He has the unique destiny, accepted left-wing; communist ideology, therefore class struggle and national identity impacted his mind as the agitated spray. Hsieh stood his leftist position and constantly concern for the proletarian that made him become a typical intellectual in that generation and his works worthy of analyzing. To practice the culture of literature Chun-Mu Hsieh created the spirit of the Enlightenment in 1920s. In addition to well-known the novel ”彼女は何処へ” and the poetry ”詩の真似する”, he has also created the script ”政治家は國を我物と思ふ” and the travel notes ”新興中國見聞記”. The script which was published in the "臺灣新民報" is different from the scripts which were published in the newspaper in the past, no longer a family living room, bedroom, but agricultural and industrial community by the history of Japanese colonial oppression site, and gradually deepen awareness of land of Hsieh by dialogues; A journey of visiting China in May,1929 Chun-Mu Hsieh the traveler who had the experience of Taiwan and Japan set foot on Chinese soil in first time. When he faced concession in Shanghai prosperous and full of flavor in Chinese Han hometown of Nanjing and Jiangnan, or Manchuria Railway across the Northeast, could analysis clearly bringing the countries of capitalism and modernization of the abnormal, and his writings show the circumstances that typical intellectuals identify themselves with race and culture at that age── as a “Taiwanese” that expected China to modernize like Japan. Political Comments, the principal writing genre of Chun-Mu Hsieh after the war. He concerned about the social and educational, political and economic issues, and his ideology change in tandem with turbulent times. This study not only re-searches Chun-Mu Hsieh scattered comments found in newspapers and magazines, but also found his Career Related Materials, and filled the details of the previous studies. From the 1920s to 1940s, it is Chun-Mu Hsieh's most political, literary vitality of thirty years. He continued replacement of his identity in writers, cultural activists, journalists, commentator and political figures.
