One hundred and ninety-five parents in Taipei City participated in this study. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher and the data were analyzed with the software package SPSS for windows (version 12.0), using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The results are as follows: 1.It was discovered that the parents of special needs students in Taipei City are satisfied with the resource room program service in junior high schools. 2.The parents’ satisfaction in Taipei City does not differ significantly on parents’ identity, educational level, and social and economical status. 3.The results show a positive correlation between parents’ participation in children’ affairs and parents’ satisfaction and also between parents’ understanding and parents’ satisfaction. 4.Parents’ satisfaction is positively correlated with their children’s experience of resource room programs in elementary school and the number of years of that in junior high school. 5.Parents’ satisfaction has no correlation with the number of class hours spent in resource room programs per week. 6.Overall, the level of parents’ understanding has a predictive power on parents’ satisfaction. Pedagogical implications and suggestions for future studies are provided according to the research results. Hsiu-Chin Lin 林秀錦 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 149 zh-TW
