A third-grade class is the research object:There are 26 students (13 girls and 13 boys) whose ages are about 9 or 10. It costs five weeks (; that is, 400 minutes) to do this research: two sessions are held in each week; each session is supposed to be held in 40 minutes. The students were required to do the test for high serve badminton skill and to draw the concept map of this skill both before and after teaching. Then, tests and drawings are turned into data which are analyzed statistically by t-test. The results are as follows:1. There is a significant effect on students’ badminton skills learning, which indicates that the strategy of concept mapping teaching plays an important role in students’ badminton learning. 2. There is also a significant effect on students’ cognitive structure, which reveals that the strategy of concept mapping teaching plays an important role in students’ cognitive learning.3. However, there is no significant difference between the effects on students’ skills and cognitive structure. Therefore, there is few correlations between badminton skills and students’ cognitive structure .The results of this research show the students who had a high scored on concept mapping did not get a similarly high score on badminton skill. Keywords: badminton instruction, learning strategies, concept mapping Min-Hua Chung 鐘敏華 學位論文 ; thesis 81 zh-TW
