| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育政策與管理研究所 === 98 === The present study aimed to investigate the host family accommodation in elementary school context to realize the phenomenon of current international education and identify life adaptation problems of foreigner students in Taiwan.Data were collected through document analysis and interview in an elementary school in Taipei city.
The results of the study reveal that (1) the quality of the host family was the primary priority in terms of host family selection; (2) confidence establishment of the host family members was the main concern in training program; (3) a host family should prepare in advance to make a solid arrangement for boarding students, and furthermore; (4) trust establishment between foreigner students and a host family can decrease the discompatibilities.
Finally, some implications for real practice and suggestions for further studies were recommended.
