Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 數位科技設計學系(含玩具與遊戲設計碩士班) === 98 === In recent years, commercial and industrial development has been putting more and more pressure on staff and workers. The control and management of the resulting increase in blood pressure of personnel has become important. Many companies manufacture healing and soothing toys that are specially designed for adults. The toy market is no longer exclusively for children. This research starts with a literature survey and discussion of the market for healing toys particularly in respect to product life cycle (PLC) and the long trail to the appearance and value of the healing toy. Psychological analysis of the phenomenon by the application of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory, Catharsis Theory and Frustration-aggression Hypothesis was helpful. This study has lead to the mechanical design elements for the development of two self-made soothing toys. SWOT was used in the analysis. The concept of a mechanism combined with human emotion and the integration of new ways to re-evaluate the design process used for healing toys has resulted in the gain of a broader scope for the study. This research produced the design for two mechanical toys, the purpose of which was to sooth: "The Turn Tables Bear" and "Little Natives". After a questionnaire was used in two school surveys and interviews were held with respondents, it was found that the toys really had a healing function… and a commercial value as well. We hope these research results will be of value to educationists and the designers of healing toy. They will also be used in future research and may be useful for the development of teaching aids and for the designers of healing toys and may help others to take part and learn. These results may certainly help enhance development in the field of education applications and can also promote the advance of toys designed for a healing effect in addition to learning.
