Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 生命教育與健康促進研究所 === 98 === This study examined the life education-related content in the Health and Physical Education Textbooks for Phase II of Grade 1-9 Curriculum using content analysis. The study scrutinizes the three MOE-approved versions of Health and Physical Education Textbooks for 4th to 6th-grade elementary school students, and compares them against both the 2009 Curriculum Guidelines for Senior-High School Life Education and the Analytic Categories of Life Education-Related Content in Textbooks for Phase II of Grade 1-9 Curriculum. The study provided five important conclusions: 1.The largest portion of competence indicators appear in Health Psychology, or the sixth of seven major categories of life education-related content in Health and Physical Education textbooks. 2.Moral Thinking and Reflection is the most frequently mentioned category of life education-related content in the Phase II Health and Physical Education textbooks, followed by Personality and Spiritual Development. The least-mentioned category is Realization of Ultimate Care. 3.All the textbook versions attach the greatest importance to two main categories: Life and Ethics of Technology and Sex, Love and Marital Ethics. However, Life and Death Studies is missing from all these textbooks. 4.Environmental Ethics is the sub-category mentioned the most often in all textbook versions, followed by Ethics of Love. 5.The life education-related content accounts for nearly a third of the modules in three MOF-approved textbook versions.
