It adopts the qualitative interview with two mothers of autistic children, to further understand mothers with autistic children in the parenting process, experiencing grief and loss experience , parenting attitudes, parenting strategies and the difficulties faced by them and the way that they try to solve the difficulties. The study has obtained the followings upon the conclusion and analysis: 1.Mothers of autistic children were experienced different levels of loss. This study found that they came through three stages of grief which includes refusal to recognize → awareness → adaptation. 2.The maternal parenting styles of autistic children were authoritative and autocratic authoritarian. 3.When Mothers of autistic children teach their children about communication skills, they use visual materials such as word cards and picture cards to facilitate the child’s learning process. 4.When Mothers of autistic children teach their children about daily living self-care skills , they use three strategies such as modeling the skills, providing assistance in the learning process, and dividing complicated skills to small accessible steps. 5.When Mothers of autistic children teach their children about social skills, they emphasized on the importance of direct training in everyday life situations. They often intentionally create chances for the child to interact with others in various real life situations. 6.Mothers of autistic children encounter similar difficulties in areas of dealing with the child's academic and interpersonal problems.
