碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 98 === The purpose of the study is to establish an online adaptive testing system, through the analysis of the test theory and item response theory, using the test items of Teacher Qualification Assessment. Plus, compare pencil and paper tests with online adaptive testing system to estimate the differences in ability. For this research, first I collected the test items of Teacher Qualification Assessment from 2005 to 2009 and then selected some ones related to Educational Measurement and Assessment. After compiling them as pencil and paper tests, I processed data analysis of the collected test papers with the software including TESTER and BILOG. Third, according to the Difficulty and Discrimination, each question was piled up into a pyramid-like online adaptive testing bank. The online adaptive testing system uses three kinds of software, the Apache, PHP and MySOL, to build. The benefit of the system is that it can be tested at any time. In addition, not only does it save more time, but it takes fewer questions than the traditional test. .
