This research takes Tai-Tung Fire Department Building, a four-story RC structure with one story underground, as an example to conduct seismic evaluation. Three kinds of seismic evaluation methods were adopted: preliminary seismic evaluation, cross section analysis seismic evaluation, and simplified pushover. Central Weather Bureau equipped 22 seismometers to record the seismic responses of the building during earthquakes. The building was severely damaged in the April 1, 2006 Tai-Tung earthquake, and three earthquake responses were recorded prior to the demolition. The results of the seismic evaluation, the base shear and ground accelerations, were compared with the results obtained by measurement for verification. Preliminary seismic evaluation has lowest strength than cross section analysis seismic evaluation and simplified pushover. In comparison with measurement, all seismic evaluation methods matched the reality. 鍾立來 吳賴雲 學位論文 ; thesis 194 en_US
