It patterns the mode of Yuan Drama ,consisting of one prologue and four sections. With four sections and one epilogue, the play threads four stories which happened in spring, summer, autumn and winter, connecting four women who suffered unspeakable loneliness from different situations. Seasons are flashing and time is hidden, while four stories were assembled in the epilogue. Seasons change on laws of nature, but how hard it is for women to reveal their heavy hearts! The analysis is divided into seven sections. In addition to preface and conclusion, it discusses the origin of writing, the arrangement of the plot, space-time in the story, and inner secrets of four main characters, attempting to review the whole process of the writing.
