The goals of this study are: First, to understand the current situation of work values and work adjustment of administrative teachers in dance classes. Second, to understand the relationship between work values and work adjustment of administrative teachers in dance classes. Third, to understand the different work values among administrative teachers in dance classes of diverse backgrounds. A questionnaire was given to the research subjects, which included: administrative teachers from elementary to junior high schools teaching dance classes in Taiwan; this included 20 teachers from junior high schools and 19 teachers from elementary schools, for a total of 39 teachers. Summarizing the analysis of the questionnaire findings, according to the goals of the research, the research conclusions are: 1. The research indicates administrative teachers in dance classes have positive work values and good work adjustment ability. 2. The relationship between work values and work adjustment of administrative teachers in dance classes shows a significant negative correlation, especially in the aspects of stability and freedom from anxiety, which present an obvious effect. 3. There is no significant difference of overall work values between diverse backgrounds among administrative teachers in dance classes. However, in the aspect of professional backgrounds, the work values of administrative teachers, graduating from a dance major with units in special education fields, are more positive, enthusiastic, and have better adjustment ability than administrative teachers from other professional backgrounds.
