碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 圖文傳播藝術學系 === 98 === The main functions of museum are always collecting arts, holding exhibitions, doing researches, and educating people; however, today’s environment which is influenced by economy, society and consuming culture has caused difficulties in museum’s operation and survival. Nevertheless, in the Age of digital convergence and knowledge economy, It can be able to solve this problem by digital archive, value-adding applications, and marketing those digital resources. By doing so, museums can make more profit to reach their goal to operate everlastingly; besides, that can also stimulate the developments of cultural and creative industry and of digital content industry. At the time when Government was eagerly carrying out Digital Archive Program, people in relevant industries, Government and academic organizations found that this program only emphasized on collections storage and academic research field, but ignore the follow-up value-adding applications, licensing, and appraisal mechanism. In addition, researches about Digital Archive are very scarce; therefore, it is difficult to make the development of the follow-up value-adding applications move any further. The base of value-adding application is licensing, and the core of licensing is appraisal. This paper takes museum as research object and carries out research into the standards of museum digital contents. According to my research of academic articles and real cases study, I develop three elements which will influence appraisal of museum digital contents. Furthermore, the result of questionnaire helps us to realize how these three elements influence the appraisal of museum digital contents, and then to set up ideal standards for licensing appraisal. Finally, I would like to provide museums and industries which are related to digital contents with my research result as reference and suggestion, and expect that this research result would be able to make some contributions to the mechanism of museum digital content licensing appraisal.
