Therefore, “group architectural creativity” becomes a new design exchange model in architectural field. Currently, there are some internationalized events in Taiwan. In 2008, Taiwan hosted an architectural group creativity - “Aodi Housing Project in Taiwan”. This study is about the housing item of the project as the analytical case, and probes into implication in concept and various possible forms upon formal strategies and design issues. It further analyzes the relationship between function legitimacy and form conherence in conceptual transformation. This study finds that with formal strategies of concept, the emphasis on the creativity of function on material characteristics and spatial organization in architecture. Moreover, the concept of forms is the creativity of spatial model and structure. Finally, the architecture can be completed upon a “concrete” and “abstract” process. The discussion on design issues in the case reveals that “reproduced prototype” and “industrial” concepts emphasized in past residential space have gradually transformed into “individual” and “flexible” oriented concepts.
