Not only because the interbank competition, but the lack of international experience, high homogeneity of financial services and financial products, and bank spreads earned by traditional business shrinking, lead the banking industry into difficult type of business to manage. Domestic banks should get rid of the outdated thinking. They should keep cultivating the core competence of innovative activities to enhance the profitability, get away from the existing competitive environment, and find new opportunities. Only the banks that can continually create new opportunities for themselves have the chance to survive under the serious competition. In this thesis, I analyze the banking industry by comparing their core competence, and I take foreign banks as lead-user to model the successful track with the core competence, management strategies and the evolution process; then, through the simulation of the business strategies of foreign banks, I try to discuss the possibly trend analysis of domestic banks in the future. Moreover, the driving force of business value is from the external market demand, the banks should aim to meet customers’ needs and to solve customers’ problems. In this thesis, I also analyze the customer needs and propose a more intelligent customer management to enhance the advantages of domestic banks. Finally, follow the trend of cross-strait financial liberalization; I analyze the situation how should the domestic banks do if they set to enter the mainland market to achieve the goal of creating the value of banking industry.
