Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 音樂研究所 === 98 === Abstract The main theme of this research is about vocal music works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. To better understand his masterpieces, this paper will focus on his whole life, the characteristics and differences among his art songs, religious songs and operatic arias as well as recital music to explore their compositional background, historical context, translation of lyrics, specific character attributes, repertoire analysis and individual performance interpretations. There are six chapters in this paper. Chapter One introduces including study motivation, goal, approach and scope. Chapter Two is about the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, such as his childhood, family education, learning process, music progress, his enlightenment, music achievements and his vocal music works. Chapter Three discusses the analysis of art songs including two songs of Ridente la Calma K.152 and Anchlöe K.524. Chapter Four is about the analysis of the religious song of Motette K.165 --- Exsultate, jubilate. Chapter Five is about the analysis of operatic arias including the opera of Le Nozze di Figaro K.492 --- Porgi amor qualche ristoro; the opera of Die Zauberflöte K.620 --- Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen. Chapter Six is the conclusion.
