| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 運動教練研究所 === 98 === In this research, the scores of each team in the 2008 Chinese Professional Baseball League were used to analyze what is the most important factor effecting Winning rate. After consulting past references, Batting Average, On Base Percentage, Slugging Percentage, Earned Run Average, Walks Plus Hits per inning pitched, Safety Hit, Base On Balls, and Getting Strike Out with self-reproach were taken to compile statistics. Eight factors were considered with each team’s winning rate to estimate the influences. Through stepwise regression, a formula was produced: Winning rate=-5.77*X2 (On Base Percentage ) + 0.001569* X3 (Getting Strike Out) - 2.36 According to the result, the hitter’s On Base rate and the pitcher’s Striking Out ability are the major factors in winning the game in the 2008 Chinese Professional Baseball League season. Batting Average, Slugging Percentages, Earned Run Average, Walks Plus Hits per inning pitched, Safety Hit, Base On Balls, Strike Out with self-reproach are not significant factors.
