| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 戲劇學系碩士班 === 98 === This paper was divided into two parts. Illustrating the concept of the creation, the first part included six chapters. The first chapter explained the motive, methodology, and purpose of the creation. The second chapter illustrated the process of selecting history and plays as well as the discovery of the creative theme when a historical play was created. Indicating the creative structure and plot, the third chapter showed not only the intention of the arrangement of acts and plot but also the efforts to enable the creation to display the style of local plays. Based on the content of the script of this play, the fourth and fifth chapters further illustrated how the shaping of the characters in the play, the arrangement of the behavioral conflicts, and the arrangements of the dialogues, the words of the songs, and the stage put into practice and responded to the conception of the creation. Finally, the sixth chapter summarized the introspection and perception resulted from the process of the creation. The second part presented the creation of the script of the play. The process how Actor Meng remonstrated with the king and his cool, composed leave in the end indicated that unimportant people possessed unlimited possibilities and that the achievement and life one pursued should depend on one’s self-understanding instead of the worldly standards of values.
