碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 98 === ABSTRACT Taiwan Machine Tool Industry was exploring the way to grow since retrocession. From maintaining and imitating imported machinery in the beginning, succeed in open export markets with the traditional lathe to establish the foundation of Taiwan Machine Tool Industry. Until developing digital technologies with computer components, impelled the products of machine tool toward develop high-precision and high-efficiency direction further. Looking at the development course of Taiwan Machine Tool Industry was a long-term and complex dynamic progress, and interacted with the environment closely. This study attempted an interactive point of view to analyze the development course of Taiwan Machine Tool Industry, and quoted two-stage learning theory to explain the industry learning progress. The results of this study revealed the development course of Taiwan Machine Tool Industry, the system continuously been upgraded through internal learning and network linkage; and then via setting up coordination mechanism continuously in different stages of development to enhance the ability of industry system entering another stages of improvement progress. In conclusion, this study proposed discussion on industry development, government policy and future challenge to industry.
