But, how to successfully implement Six Sigma methodologies within organization or business more effective and efficient to achieve excellence was the major objective for this thesis. Moreover, with the successful stories of adopting Six Sigma and achieving high profit in manufacturing organizations like Motorola, General Electric, Ford and DOW Chemical have tried to adopt Six Sigma and initiated Six Sigma projects to improve their development processes. Therefore, the author took an example of a case company, an American manufacturer with her peculiar Performance Excellence quality initiative, as the case study to build up a master plan for Six Sigma implementation succeed in manufacturing facilities even in service industries. This study found that effectively and efficiently implement Six Sigma quality methodologies need to (1) regularly manage and update the portfolio of projects; (2) measure the right things in the right ways; (3) get people involved in a process fully engaged in optimizing that process; (4) help everyone see how they fit into the big picture and how their work contributes to the bottom line. In all these ways, this master plan for Six Sigma implementation can help any enterprise successfully achieve business strategic objectives excellence and satisfied to customers'' requirements.
