| Summary: | 碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 生態學研究所 === 98 === The research aimed to study the life history of two species of Nemouridae (Amphinemura sp. and Protonemura sp.) in the Hapen Creek and to get some information about its population dynamics, habitat selecting, life cycle and secondary production. Samples were collected monthly from September 2006 to August 2007. The results showed that Amphinemura sp. has two generation per year and Protonemura sp. has 3 generations per year. The life cycles of the two species all were non-seasonal cycle. There were no significant differences among sampling sites and among seasons (two-way ANOVA, P > 0.05) in the population density of Protonemura sp. However, there were significant differences in population densities of Amphinemura sp. among seasons (two-way ANOVA，P < 0.05). The cohort production of Amphinemura sp. was about 96.95 mg AFDW m-2y-1. The annual production of Amphinemura sp. was about 193.99 mg AFDW m-2y-1 and the annual P:B was 13.15. The cohort production of Protonemura sp. was 19.40 mg AFDW m-2y-1. The annual production of Protonemura sp. was 58.20 mg AFDW m-2y-1 and the annual P:B was 16.25.
