Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 教育研究所 === 98 === The study of “Happiness Course” is based on a real happiness point of view from Seligman. The experimental objects were 62 sixth grade students in an elementary school. Adopting pretest-posttest control group design, this study aims to explore the effects of raising happiness in “Happiness Course” on sixth grade students of elementary school. The experimental group accepted the “Happiness Course” for eight weeks, two classes per week, and each class lasted for 40 minutes. The “Children’s Positive Mood and Negative Mood Scale” was used for the pretest, the posttest, and the tracking posttest after four weeks. There are three conclusions: 1. There are no immediate effects of “Happiness Course” in rising happiness on sixth grade students of elementary school. 2.There are no long-term enhancing effects of “Happiness Course” in rising happiness on sixth grade students of elementary school, but it does in rising positive mood. 3. According to the statements and feedbacks of the experimental group, the majority students possessed the positive attitudes with acceptance and fondness for the “Happiness Course”, and considered the positive effects of the course. Finally, A number of suggestions were made for future study and teaching.
