The purposes of the research are to understand and analyze the key elements and processes of resilience from the families of rare disease child in multidimensional difficult issues; and then the research aims to provide social workers that help the families in multidimensional difficulty obtain positive adaptations in assessments, and interventions of system construction, and is based on the perspective of time development. The results of this research include: 1.The plight of the families of rare diseases child has five points that should be focused upon which are (1) Rare diseases still caused the families being high risk of injury; (2)The development of medical care information is still insufficient; (3)The executions of social policy or social welfare for helping families of rare disorders needs to be strengthened; (4) Discrimination and prejudice still exists in the inner and outer family systems; (5)The plight of rare diseases multidimensional affects the family development tasks. 2.There are three key processes of family resilience. They are(1) Family Belief Systems, (2)Organizational Patterns, and (3)Communication Processes. These support the helping profession empower the families in plight to overcome prolonged adversity. 3.The families showed the process of family resilience can be divided into four stages. They are (1)the difficulty has happened; (2)turn on the power of resilience; (3)families rally; and (4)future challenging. 4.The power of family resilience may empower the adversity families in (1)keeping positive belief in unison; (2)effective problem solving and adaptation; (3)better capacity utilization of social resources; (4)sustainable maintenance of the families.
