In the past, the mobile computing is inadequate to meet the security requirement of computing. Therefore, the development of mobile commerce is not as expected. This thesis develops a mobile ticket system by using signcyrption methodology on J2ME platform. It is effective to avoid the digital ticket to be altered or forged via the characteristic of signcryption method. Furthermore, our mobile ticket system will demonstrate that the current prevail mobile phone technology is already capable of satisfying the demand of the asymmetry encryption and decryption mechanisms proposed in this thesis.
