Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 98 === Abstract This study aimed to explore students’ swimming exercise perception and learning results in Kaohsiung county Da-She junior high school. 466 valid questionnaires were collected from March 1 to March 26, 2010 and analyzed with SPSS 14.0. In order to comprehend the distribution of students’ exercise perception and learning results, the data was analyzed with t-test and one-way ANOVA. The findings were as follows: Respondents were mainly male (50.2%); The ninth-grade students were more than other grades (33.7%); 460 parents viewed swimming exercise with positive attitude (98.7% ); 237 respondents tended to spend three to four days for swimming (50.9%); 341 respondents have learned to swim since they were in elementary schools(73.2%); 202 respondents were able to swim 11-25meters(43.3%); 235 participants also spent more time doing swimming exercise(50.4%). The above results indicated that there were significant differences between different background variables and exercise perception, but there were no significant differences between different background variables and learning results. Third, there were significant correlations between swimming exercise perception and learning results. Therefore, with the study focused on students’ swimming exercise perception and learning results in Da-She junior high school, educators will be able to take the results into consideration and thereby improve the arrangement of swimming classes in the future.
