Moreover the knowledge also can express rapidly through the digital format to all over the world. However, this methodology can not only use for the purpose of preservation, but also can be conducted to reform the condition with virtual reality technology. The Interacting Space Simulation Technology can make more high quality perception sense to improve traditional way of the report in 1 2D way. As the next step for the preservation of the historic properties, a new platform should be conducted through internet or virtual space to make more widely sharing and expressing effect. This study is aimed to create a combination platform with the virtual reality technology and database management system to develop a digital based interface and process for the next applied platform. According to preliminary results by the several kinds of the historic properties as applied cases, a virtual preservation system which can be work on the internet and be capable of various cultural building properties is applied as the platform. The cases including theYe Zong-Li Tomb, Lin-Yuan Village Police Station and Du-Hsing 10th Village were taken to discuss the efficiency and acceptance to the different user in different field. A questionnaire was taken to figure out the evaluation of the systems. Four conclusions can be conducted as following: 1. The system can break through the traditional way to efficiently combine the databases and the conditions in virtual way. The platform is constructed in an open structure with highly flexible system to achieve the knowledge exchanging purpose. 2. The 3D models of the building properties were virtual reality scenes which built up by Quest3D. The software can ideally display the detail parts of buildings and interact with references to show the related information in the same time. The system not only demonstrates the real building virtually but advances the 3D digital virtual technology to a higher level. 3. After the interviews and surveys, we find out the further point of system development can focus on its maturity and immersive experience to the audience to provide a more integrated effect. 4. This study combines the ideas of virtual reality and database managing function to come up with a system can run on the internet. The system provides the building properties the capabilities of virtual repair, virtual rebuild and storage assistance which generate a high use value after the evaluation of users.
