According to Dr. Yu-Ping, Playfulness shows the features of humor, freedom, creating solutions in the process of being playful. In a work place, it may be much differed in style and preferences when a school staff has playful qualities, because he/she is affected by free and pleasant atmosphere; moreover, having the qualities of playfulness may affect one’s working performance. Communication skills is very important to school staff when they providing services to teachers and students. One who can establish good interpersonal relationship and communication skills comparatively can get more happiness and satisfaction in life and career than one who can’t. The research targets are the organized staff in six universities in Tainan. Research method is to dispense questionnaires, Issuing a total 415 copies were returned 380 copies, valid samples were 357 copies. Mainly use Descriptives、Independent samples T test、One-way anova、Canonical analysis、Multiple regression analysis to process and analyze the data, and the conclusions are as follows: 1.Playfulness and the ability of interpersonal communication are highly positive related. 2.Playfulness and working performances are obviously positive related. 3.Working performances could be partly predictable from faculty’s playfulness and interpersonal communication. In the results of working performance analysis shows that faculty’s perspectives in evaluation system and the opportunities for in-job training are different from the high- rankers’ perspectives in these aspects.
