The performance measures used to evaluate the systems are work in process, cycle time, throughput, and service level for four, six, and eight stations in the systems. The multi-CONWIP system is also studied, and the different partitions of multi-CONWIP system are evaluated . Simulation results show that both kanban and CONWIP systems performance better according to the service level as the number of cards increases. With the same number of cards and the same number of stations operating in the system, the CONWIP system has the best performance of service level, the non-isometric multi-CONWIP system performs better than the isometric multi-CONWIP system, and the kanban system has the worst performance of service level.
