These tiny sensors are limited by Micro Electro Mechanical Systems whether in calculation ability or electricity storage. Therefore, it is an important objective to preserve a long-lasting life cycle of network and sufficient monitor area in the research field of wireless sensor networks. We propose the Node Coverage Grouping (NCG) scheme, which is a method for grouping and scheduling sensors to prevent sensors in close proximity from acting at the same time and causing too much and redundant sensor area. In a sensor network with high density, too many nodes nearby will cause the problems of redundant sensitivity and channel obstructing. Through node scheduling, NCG can shut down the redundant sensor nodes to save energy and prolong network lifetime. From the point of view of the three analysis factors in simulation study, that is, the number of alive nodes, the coverage rate, and the number of working nodes, the efficiency of NCG in saving electricity is higher than PEAS [6] and LDAS(Lightweight Deployment-Aware Scheduling)[15]. NCG, which uses the coverage of node as standard of grouping, can avoid transmitting unnecessary packages and save energy consumption, thereby extending the life of sensor nodes. 王鼎超 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 66 zh-TW |

碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 98 === Wireless sensor networks, a popular subject for research in recent years, are formed by numerous tiny sensors.
