By multiple input, multiple output antennas (MIMO Antennas) system, the transmission bit error rate can be reduced and the performance will be better, or the spectrum efficiency will be improved without more spectrum resources. In this thesis, by Matlab program, we present the performance evaluation of a 2T1R antenna under multipath channel for DS-CDMA systems. In the simulation, the Lognormal model, which is a statistical model for stationary receiver, is provided first. The performance has different improvements according to the different standard deviations. Then, the second channel model for moving mobile-phone in urban environments is considered. The moving will result in the Doppler power spectrum, and by the channel estimation and the Space-Time Block Codes (STBC), the improvement can be evaluate by simulation.
