Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業設計學系 === 99 === In the wake of the cultural heritage preservation law in Taiwan was announced in 1982, the code has been amended with new provisions several times, and the category of cultural heritage per se has been adjusted as well. On the other hand, the investigation and assessment task of the to-be cultural heritage are led by government. With the perspective of “heritage with culture”, the phrase—“old building’’ seems to have more interpretations. For instance, how to identify monument, historic building and “industrial cultural heritage”? What are those differences on their identities? The research attempts to give definitions and comparisons of these classifications of old building, and to discuss these three variations on the valuation of distinguishing indexes. Perusing the evolution of the concepts of culture assets, it manifests that the importance of conserving world cultural heritage should be put premium on discovering spatial assets; therefore, the outcome of this research will advance the identification of cultural heritage of locality, and promote the cultural renewal of community. In this individual study case, original workstation of Dongshih forest district office and its subordinate compound are taken as an example. By means of undertaking field trips and compiling interviews, it brings the layer of community type recognition, and constructs full-fledged local cultural heritage certifying criterions. Consequently, based on expert questionnaires, I’ve proposed a reusing and re-planning project toward a single case in order to advocate and resurrect community culture.
