Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 建築學系 === 98 === The purpose of this thesis is to discuss on the construction way of Yami Tribe dwelling houses in depth. There are some related researches about the records of traditional dwelling house in the past by anthropologists and architectural scholars during each period. Some of them are professionals in other fields who also recorded the image. This thesis is to collate the particularity on its traditional process of construction、 the logic of construction and the traditional structure in terms of the literature review and the recent survey. This thesis points out the change of the traditional construction way which has been influenced by many kinds of external factors during each period. In order to let traditional dwelling houses more fit in with reality ,and for some related works in the future, I further collated the traditional construction ways which include the construction detail of each building element、 the building sequence、 the order of choosing materials and handle way、the traditional related ceremony of construction, etc. I have to evaluate the value of existing traditional dwelling house before preservation works. The dimensions of evaluation must include: the appreciation of the beauty and the entrance scale of dwelling house of Yami Tribe、dwelling house form which is conformed to tradition or not、inside construction which culture value is high or not. The high culture value construction which could be regarded as historical relics must be preserved, so that I proposed the evaluation way: including historical value、preserving traditional form、the appreciation of the beauty of Yami Tribe. After surveying existing traditional dwelling houses, the records of existing form could be compared with the characteristics of each period house type arranged by this thesis to judge the period of house existed, and further to understand its value. In the past, house repairing activities is for life need, but the center of daily living area has been transferred to public housing area due to the influence of modern living. The users of traditional dwelling houses become the aged people. Follow withering of the aged people, traditional dwelling houses have to face the threatened situation of hard preservation. Nowadays house repairing are all supported by our government, the meaning and values are quite different from before, through surveying the repairing of five houses, I see the gap of traditional construction way passed down. The people who have high technique of construction could not have their deserved indemnification. According to Yami Tribe traditional custom, the technique of construction is only passed down the people of Yami Tribe. Those phenomena I mentioned cause the preservation works hard to be done. We can use the code of culture estate to ensure the people who have high technique of construction, and encourage them by activities of interacting the related technique and ceremony of construction to record the existing technique of construction, or for physical house preservation, we can use the way of designating it as excavation or registering it as historical architecture, etc. We have to deal with the legality of local land, and relieve their misgivings and agitations of designating and registering if it is necessary to designate or register. Follow respecting the nationality of equitable society, we have to obtain personal identification, then cohere a common consensus of Yami tribal in order to develop the preservation works.
