Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 製造科技研究所 === 98 === For the emergy requirement of fast and low cost 2.5D thin shell products for sampling use, current fabrication technologies can not fulfill the needs. It is necessary to develope an invoative process which can provide a fully automation moldless forming. Different from the convention thermal forming process which can not avoid use a specified mold, the process proposed in this paper is building up 2D thin shell by selective deformation using laser. The deformation direction is depended on the direction of the air pressure and the deformation distance is controlled by a stop board. A system has been build to evaluate the innovative process and this system has been discussed in this paper. Both customiezed in sole and face mask has been builded by using the laser based moldless forming system. It shows the ability of the flexibility to 2.5D thin shell corved surface.
