However, when the viewers surf the net art creations, the linked website actually often shows the message that “homepage has been detached.”Although the exhibitions of art creations of other types are also limited by time, their related literature records still can be researched in the periodicals, the newspapers, and the magazines, or it can be preserved by the way of videos or taking pictures. Hence, the viewers are able to know the exhibition situations and the related appreciations by the literature information. These diverse situations make the researchers try to discuss if the net art can be preserved the exhibition form and appreciation records by the report of the periodical magazines, as well as the differences of the exhibitions, the message spread, and the popularizing between the net art creations and traditional exhibited form.
Through literature review, Stratified Sampling, Document Analysis, SASS Statistical Analysis Methodology, Comparative Method, Inductive Method, the researcher tries to realize that whether the net art can be preserved its exhibited form and appreciation records by the report of the visual art periodical magazines or not. If the probability of the creations of the net art and the traditional exhibition form which appears in the visual periodical magazines is obvious diverse, it seems to mean that the creation ideas are totally different between these two types of art and the headlines of the creations of the net art artists and the artists are obvious diverse.
The researcher has found that the net art recently display in the art museum from studying the data, but it still mostly display in the network – there’s only one net art creation in the report of the magazines in ten years. The materials that the creations of the visual art magazine reports are only fifty-eight types, which is not fixed, but the net artists only have one material to take the network as the material, and they are the same as the other artists that are likely to name their creations in the ways of the literature, the prediction, the event, the narrating or the thing structure, the condition, the confession and the dialog. This shows when the artists meditate the theme and decide the headline; the network is the same as other materials that the artists would choose. That is, after deciding the headline, the artists decide to use which material they would use, the network is only one in numerous materials sub-item options.
