Since technology advances and new types of human-computer interaction interface are developed, the old operation styles of products have been subverted and traditional furniture has been due to change its appearance or usage types according to the trend of the times. Therefore, this study was aiming to explore, in the digital lifestyle, the closet usage behavior and needs of the office workers and students groups, in order to digitize wardrobe management and design innovative products and their operation interface. This study used the questionnaire survey methods, whose content mainly consisted of "personal basic information survey" and " investigation of wardrobe type ", "habits of daily usage" and” the way of wardrobe search." The purpose at this stage was to understand what were the daily wardrobe usage habits, styles of storage and the habit of looking for clothing of the subjects, so that the programming guidelines could be developed and the innovative products’ designing process could be started. The questionnaire assessments were verified according to the planned objectives under this study. In the interface aspect, the development of touch screen technology had increasingly matured as if this intuitive user interface had become a focus on interface design nowadays. We learned through the experiment that, when designing interface, it might be necessary for the subjects to select the target object directly without having to click the left-right buttons, and this might be a better intuitive design. Results by one way ANalysis Of VAriance (ANOVA) statistics indicated that Design case two got the highest degree of satisfaction, followed by design case one and design case three had the lowest score; people in this study speculated that the subjects decided the product scores mainly on whether the products’ appearance matched with their bedrooms and whether product sizes and storage styles would take up too much space.
