Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 資訊經營學系(所) === 98 === The most important application of Group technology (GT) is to design cellular manufacturing system. GT is allocated a number of cells of machines according to the desired goal that is to cluster similar machines together. It can reduce distance of parts among the cells, reduce transportation costs, increase the machine utilization, etc. This study considers the parts with alternative routes. The algorithm uses Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) on the cell formation problem (CFP) and uses the machine similarity coefficient to correct the unreasonable solution to assist particle evolution, and then find out the better solution of the cell formation.
